On September 10th, 2025, I took and passed the CompTIA Network+ test.
My tips and thoughts on the process.
I used the Professor Messer Podcast of study groups – Useful on drives to and from work.
I used the Professor Messer video course
Then for one more source, I added a book. CompTIA Network+ N10-009 Exam Cram.
With all these resources, this test had me very nervous. It’s a lot harder than the A+ and some say it is harder than the Security+. I will admit that I bought the voucher with the retake — for insurance purposes. But I passed it on the first try with a score of 829. I was in awe! Even had a little victory dance there in the cubicle.
I also prefer to take them in person, no webcam watcher or concerns about someone accidentally entering.
Go out and get it. It’s attainable but there is some work to be done, not free or easy but you can do it.
